The Kids On Keys Newsletter provides periodic updates on Kids On Keys products and methods. Here is a copy of our latest newsletter:
Winter/Spring
2011 It’s hard to believe the year has turned, and we are planning for our spring and summer programs. The key is planning NOW. Setting schedule time, advertising, contacting families and planning demonstrations of your programs will ensure success! Please be sure to mention the KIDS ON KEYS website in your advertising. It answers many questions that parent’s may have about music education for the young child. We encourage you explore the many ways of introducing children to the piano. Kids On Keys can be used as a summer “prep” course; the JUMP START to fall private lessons for children ages 5 to 7. It can also be condensed into a “camp” form over the period of just a few weeks, using just Workbook One. Be inventive and creative! In
planning for summer, consider GROUP MUSIC LESSONS AND SEMESTER PLANS.
There are great ideas for summer themes, camps, music field trips and
activities for all ages. Sometimes a
fresh idea will motivate students and encourage music growth. Welcome to all of the new teachers and studios to our Kids On Keys family. Remember, you are encouraged to send us your spring and summer schedule. We will happily post this information on our website, free of charge, and include a link to your studio. In our next newsletter, we would like to include teaching tips, suggestions and even funny anecdotes from your experience. Please send them into this website, with your permission to print. In this
time of economic uncertainty, classes are an affordable way for families to gift
the gift of music to their children. You can promote your program by visiting
area schools and preschools and offering a short introductory program to
prospective students and parents. As
always, remember what an important job that you do, and what an important role
you plan in the musical development of young children.
